This video demonstrates how to practice rudder and cyclic control while the tail of the helicopter is pointed towards you. Try to keep the helicopter in a relatively small area. Please SUBSCRIBE so you see it as soon as it comes out. e-mail mikey@mikeysrc.com if you have and questions. This is part of a video series teaching you how to eventually fly full function 6 channel RC helicopters. The plan is to start you out on a coaxial helicopter, teach you the basics which are broken up into easy to learn and practice steps. Once these skills are mastered you are ready to move on to a 6 channel helicopter.

You may have heard it quite a few times, but maybe not enough. Thanks for these videos, man! It really helped me and my gf learn how to fly our heli! Keep it up! By the way, what’s up with the puppet? Is that your other hobby? It’s cool man!

@MikeysRC If you buy the same RC copter you own, does it come with the radio?
@Chr1sRoXx Pretty much every helicopter does this a little. Try adding some right aileron trim. But don’t expect perfection with these smaller helis.
Hey there, i just bought a Blade SR and these videos are the only (decent) teaching aid i can come across, I can maintain rotor control, but find every time i try to hover, the heli (remaining level) drifts off to its left (without yawing or banking). Could this be a center of gravity, or perhaps rotor alignment issue? (rotor blades are definitely in track) or is it more likely my bad input over and/or under correcting the movements… Can you offer some advice Mikey???
@88gamez $90
