4th flight of 1/6th scale hirobo Bell 47 g II at Skelmersdale model aircraft club
Flips, rolls, cars, boats, ducks, roos and a Cessna. This and more, captured with two onboard video cameras. I used my Trex 500 helicopter with a flycamone2 mounted to the tail and a sony cybershot digital camera mounted to the skids (using pool noodle foam). This video was NOT done using FPV equipment and is arguably the worlds best non-FPV rc heli aerial video; see comments from "muni86". The locations are Warrandyte, Wonga Park, Rosebud, Sugarloaf Reservior, Torquay, Melbourne (Alexandra Gardens) and Williamstown (Victoria, Australia). Nice job! Ive got around 3000 hrs ag-time in a 47G, you really need to add spray booms for maximum effect! Also the sound and the way you fly this is close to the real one! Awesome job :O)

What does the law say about where you can fly RC devices?
@davepamn A lot of guys coming out of the military with UAV experience would find jobs as a civilian and not for the NSA/CIA and what not.

@kburman6 Very difficult, or very easy, depending on budget. Look up Copilot 2. Flying is easy as cake then. BUT, it won’t look as good. Helis are very hard to fly, but you can see the results.

Fantastic video? I am a new electric 450 heli pilot and when I take off my heli spins as much as 60 to 90 rpm when my stick is in the neutral position. When I adjust the trim only one click it’s as if I moved the stick all the way in that direction. How can I reduce the sensitivity of the trim? My rudder is channel 6 and I tried adjusting the sub trims to no avail. How can I reduce the range of correction my trim has only for the rudder as my main blade trim and throttle trim… work fine?

I have to agree. The best aerial photo video I have seen. My wife keeps asking what I want to do with my hobby and she really enjoys her cameras. Knowing that you didn’t use any fancy equipment answers the question for me. May I use as a screen saver?
