Avatar Z008 4 Channel $40 RC Helicopter Review

This is the avatar z008 4 channel rc helicopter, I picked it up from ebay for a little under .00 Flight time 5 or 6 minutes, charge time 20 minutes from USB charger or 45 minutes from the transmitter. Very stable and fast, looks great, mostly metal frame. It has fans on either side that control left right roll, a fan on the rear that controls forward reverse motion, and coaxial rotors that keep it stable and control yaw, it's a lot of fun, and it's very precise, but it is mode one, meaning throttle and roll are on the left stick and spin and forward reverse are on the right stick, if you've been flying mode 2 for a long time it'll take a little getting used to, but if you've only ever flown 2 and 3 channel helicopters then it will just be an extra added channel of control for you.

@bballboy423 It is very stable durable and easy to control, but the battery life is pretty short, about 5 minutes flight time.

  4. bballboy423

is this a good helicopter? is it durable, easy to control and have good battery life? PLEASE ANSWER!!!

another one …i had the halo chopper are these two the same?

  6. taoistflyer

@erikatvdriver proper mode one is throttle and roll on the right stick pitch and yaw on the left stick. this is like mode one with the sticks switched.

@hyperactiveheli123 check your wires make sure nothing is disconnected, spin the motor and make sure it isn’t sticking it may just be a broken wire, the tail blade may be pushed on to tight, or the motor may need to be replaced.

@22xx22xx22xx syma has a large line of kick ass 3 channel helis, most 4 channel coaxial helicopters like
the e sky coaxial lama is a good cheap 4 channel heli that is great to learn with and fun to fly.

@dom1391 always buy from someone with a return policy, or if you can try to fly the helicopter in front of them to make sure it works, mall cart sellers aren’t as easy to track down as online retailers and local hobby shops.

silly you playing with your toys at the office again:D

@erikatvdriver technicly mode one is throttle on the right stick, roll on the right stick. forward reverse pitch and yaw on the left stick. I was calling it mode one because the throttle and roll are on the same stick.
usually mode has the throttle on the right.

@xenor77 No unless you point the TX right at it and stay close to it, the sun light will block the IR signal pretty well.

  13. linutas

in the real rc modeling not the toys you choose the mode you go on mode 1 or mode 2

  14. xenor77

    can you fly it outdoors?

  15. timyfin

@0011mauro yes fit well for first helicopter because when u take it up first time, it keep still and can try find other controls with time without panic-

Got this helicopter, with same mod 1, and i got same problem with it to fly. I think here in Europe we dont use also Mod1 so much as 2. Because this is only helicopter what have Mod2. This is most easy to fly… even too easy and make it less fun. Only problem is when use small rotors on site they use so much power that need more trusts power to keep same fly level.

    @futuramanut Thanx…..

  18. futuramanut

@0011mauro Yes, completely. This is about as beginner as it gets.

  19. 0011mauro

    it is for beginers..????

  20. riothero313

It might just be the video but this seems to rotate much faster than my S107. To bad you can get both side rotors going at the same time for faster climbing.

where do u get these palces to fly ur helis

  22. erikatvdriver

stupid question: Is there such things as mode 3 or 4? where the throttle is like the right stick or sumthing like that?

  23. vernonvideos

@22xx22xx22xx it’s 5, it’s fun but I had a big bounce-crash and my side proppeller wasn’t working and it fell off, I used a strong 24 hr appoxy and it fixed…

  24. firaszul99

i think dis has the body of syma s107.

  25. hyperactiveheli123

@taoistflyer I need some help I kinda had a 9 foot fall off of the ceiling fan because I was expecting it to be really strong and now the back propeller won’t work so I can’t go forward or backward…
