2010 EXI 450 Belt-Driven 3D Helicopter – Lawn Mowing

Paul decided that he needed to help trim the weeds on our backyard flying field. We had no idea that he planned on doing it with his EXI 450 setup. Very fun to watch - Great job Paul! Get the latest EXI 450 Belt-Driven kit for only www.xheli.com

How to fly RC Heli for beginners, 6 Channel helis lessons 7 to 11 are here. In fact these are just few methods I used when I started with Helis and I did not have any RC Simulator. Simulators like Realflight G3.5 make great difference and you learn to fly Helis or planes in a week and become pro in a month, but if you do not have RC Sims, then it takes lots of patience and lots of practice. Here are other 5 lessons for those who do not have RC Simulators but do have RC helis so with patience and practice you will get there. Enjoy. Comments and feedback welcome at ali@redcatracing.com. Awsome flying…Surley weed killer is a less expensive option?

  5. videocruzer

i used to make my synergy go below the grass line at the field.
the grass flew everywhere… it looked like someone was weed eating in the deep grass. never took pics but the grass stains were more of a mess then the nitro :) .
one of the cool moves i used to do was a circling wall of fire/ and tumbling/fliping autos… that was before when i lived to fly heli. :)

    @abc11447741
The bigger a Heli is, the easier it is to fly.

  7. abc11447741

is this helicopter easier to fly then the EXI 250…and is this helicopter good for intermediate flyers?

  8. amando96

Is the price on the website just for the chassis? or is it a ready to fly chopper?

hello i bought 4 helis from xheli dot com and one is defective. i would like to exchange it. i’ve tried calling, emailing, and their live tech support. No answer from any of them, except for a email saying they’ll contact me within 1-2 days. In the mean time try our toll free hotline or live tech support.

Please help me! i would like to fly my heli i just bought. =(

  18. BluesGuitares

The seller, a chinese wharehouse in China, is selling a chopper with dangerous electronics that if not fully understood, may seriously injur the pilot or or others watching! They greattly oversell what they are actually selling!! They want your money! nothing else and will not back up your’ purchase!!!

  19. jdw5043

  20. TankerUSA

    Nice recovery.
Lets hope xheli has the parts you need to fix any damage you might of developed.
Why is it that xheli never has any parts for their helis?

  21. vlinderbom2

  26. o0dekker0o

  27. Virtical

Dude, just wanted to let you know these videos have helped me heaps and I’m sure many others too, good work man!

  28. 21ShadowWing

is flying outdoors harder than flying indoors

  29. Promesses

@alishanmao Yes i do! I’got aerofly deluxe edition but the way to pilot My engine is different! In real life i’ve got more difficulty

  30. alishanmao

    @Promesses Get a Simulator and practice :D

  31. Promesses

    I’ve got a Honey Bee V2

  32. Promesses

    Thanks for the lessons.
Today I’ve got a lot of difficulty doing circles
Do you have some others tips in control of the heli ?

  33. dbutzer

Seems the tracking is off a bit, or low headspeed. Don’t really recommend walking the heli either, don’t want to trip, so it’s best to stay in one place for the most part. Not bad stuff though for beginners to try out.

  34. wrestlemaniac202

I fly helis a do filming with them and I find it a lot easier just to use a 6 or sometimes a 7 channel heli

  35. babaji1954

Alishanmao….was confident hovering but found it is NOT easy walking!! or moving from from circle to circle….sigh….back to the sim before I incur any damage lol! Good lessons man. Thanks.

  36. alishanmao

@babaji1954 Walking the heli is fun and improves the skills great

  37. babaji1954

Thanks for all these videos, man. I am now off the ‘trainers’ and hovering confidently. Going to try ‘walking’, looks easier then spinning.

  38. alishanmao

@maazSqWRX Nops, I am from Pakistan. working and living near dongguan, close to HK though

  39. maazSqWRX

    R u from HK

  40. alishanmao

Wasim, its all about how you feel comfortable. I have seen pros using thumbs and pencil catch method both :)

  41. wasimwazir

coz they say pro’s dont use theirs thumbs like i do.!

  42. alishanmao

    Yup keep the CG right

  43. alishanmao

it depends what is comfortable for you

  44. wasimwazir

how should i use the control use two fingers on each control or just use 2 thumbs?

  45. Superroggenbroetchen

to begin flying buy the nine eagles kestrel 500 sx

  46. bowmaaker

yes and fix skills too -you will crash!!!

  47. mozart237

if your heli is tail heavy (like belt cp) or nose heavy it will be hard to re-gain control if you try to spin it.

  48. AZURERACE

Good control of your heli. very easy to lose control of my belt cpv2.

  49. ModularTester

4 Channel is only for indoor or with totally no wind, because of the curved blades catch the wind, they dont slice tru like flat blades.
    Nice lessons btw.
